미용실 교육훈련의 내용과 체계에 관한 고찰 = (A)study on the systems and contents of beauty salon training

국문 초록 (Abstract)

최근 경쟁력 강화가 큰 이슈로 대두되면서 미용분야에서는 경영상의 성과를 증진시킬 수 있는 교육 프로그램 개발에 관심이 모아지고 있다. 미용실에서는 교육을 통해서 소비자의 변화하는 욕구와 요구를 수용하여 앞서 나가고 또한 역동적으로 대처해 나갈 필요가 있는 것이다. 미용실 교육의 필요성은 미용교육기관의 불충분한 교육에서 비롯된다. 미용실의 현장에서 필요한 교육을 위해서는 미용실에서 체계화된 시스템에 의해 커리큘럼을 짤 필요가 있다. 즉 미용실에서 교육의 필요성은 고객이 원하는 “美,에 대한 지속적인 욕구를 충족시키기 위해 현장에서 필요로 하는 연속적인 교육이 요구되는 것이다.
따라서 본 연구의 목적은 미용실에서의 교육 즉, ‘현장에서 활용할 수 있는 교육’을 위한 체계적인 교육시스템 모형을 찾고자 하는 데에 있다. 체계적인 교육 훈련 커리큘럼 모형의 첫 단계로서 현재 미용실 내 교육훈련의 문제점을 발견해 보고자 미용실 종사자를 대상으로 설문지를 통한 질적 자료(Qualitative Data)를 수집하고 정리하였다. 설문지의 내용은 조사자의 일반적 특성을 알아보기 위하여 성별, 연령, 학력, 전공, 미용 자격 취득 등 10개 문항으로 구성 하였고, 교육훈련에 관한 인식정도를 16개 문항으로 구성하였으며 교육훈련 운영 실태를 알아보기 위해 교육 담당자. 교육 프로그램 입안, 교육 장소 등 11개 문항으로 구성하여 제반실태 및 문제점을 찾고자 하였다. 설문지 통계에서 나타난 문제점들은 경영자와 업소 중심에 의한 교육훈련, 교육 훈련의 내용과 계획의 체계성이 부족, 교육훈련 담당 조직의 미비로 인한 전문성 결여, 부적절한 교육방법과 미흡한 교육내용, 기초교육기관(미용고등기술학교, 전문대학, 대학교)의 교육내용과 미용기업 실무의 연계성 부족이 나타났다.
본 논문에서는 이 문제점들을 해결하기 위한 방법으로 미용실 규모와 조건에 맞는 커리큘럼 개발 모델 설계방법에 대하여 논하였다. 이를 활용하면 미용실 교육훈련의 내용과 체계를 보다 구체적으로 확립할 수 있을 것이다.
또한, 전인교육을 최선의 목표로 하는 학교교육에 비해 미용실의 교육은 명확하고 초점이 있는 교육목표를 대상으로 작업을 하기 때문에 체계적인 교수설계의 효과성을 더욱 기할 수 있는 분야이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 현재 우리나라 학교교육의 커리큘럼이 미용실 업무와 연계를 제대로 유지하고 못하고 있음으로 인해, 졸업생이 미용실에 입사하고 나서야 비로소 이론과 실제의 갭을 발견하고 그것을 채우기 위한 노력을 한다는 것이다. 이러한 교육의 낭비를 막기 위해서는 이론 연구 뿐 아니라 그 이론을 적용하여 실제 활용이 가능한 교육 프로그램을 개발하는 방법을 가르치는 학교 교육이 절실히 필요하다. 그러므로 학교교육 커리큘럼이 학교교육에 관한 연구에 치우친 나머지 많은 학생들의 요구를 인식하지 못한 채 지나쳐서는 안 되겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Currently enhancement of competitive power became a great issue so it is focused on training program development which can increase the performance of business. In the beauty salon, it is necessary to reflect customer's needs and desire dynamically. The necessity of training in beauty salon is originated from insufficient training of beauty training agency. Namely, the necessity of training in beauty salon is required to satisfy the continuous needs of customer regarding 'beauty'; practical training which is needed in the field.
Therefore, in this study, I intended to find out the systematic training system model for obtaining practical knowledge. In the first step, I did a survey with staffs in beauty salons to figure out the problem of training in beauty salons and collected qualitative data. The contents of survey consisted of 10 questions regarding sex, age, education level, specialty, beauty license certificate, etc. There were also 16 questions asking about the consciousness on training and to find out the present status of training operation, I added11 questions regarding training manager, program and training place to find out problems. According to the survey, several problems turned out, such as, training conducted by manager or salon, lack of training contents, plan's systematic characteristic, lack of expertise and training management organization, inappropriate training procedure, insufficient training contents and lack of connection between actual work and training contents from training organizations (beauty technology school, college school, university).
In this study, to solve these problems, I discussed about the designing method of curriculum development model. With this, I am sure that we can establish contents and system of beauty salon's training more systematically.
Also, despite the school education which is targeting education for a whole man, the training of beauty salon has a clear training goal so it can contribute to the efficiency of systematic curriculum designing. Nevertheless, current school curriculum is not connected to the beauty salon's actual work so students find out the actual gap between theory and practical knowledge and try to fill it up. To prevent these kinds of wastes, it is essential to develop practical education program by applying the theory and studying theory. Therefore, school curriculum should reflect a lot of students' needs on their teaching.
