This study aims to identify the educational characteristics and advantages of VR content as a way to improve the ability of makeup tasks and to reveal the need for the development of classroom tools that enable learning and training without limitation of time, space, and environment by utilizing VR in makeup education. Results VR contents actively engage learners within interesting space of virtual reality and design process for problem solving initiative and promote high-level thinking such as creativity and critical thinking ability. VR also gives a realistic sense of reality and can manipulate the size or shape of the model as desired, enabling the design of a variety of content. Thus, the development of VR content will make makeup education more efficient, requiring a variety of models and contextual conditions. It will be more effective in the field of beauty that requires repeated training. It is also expected that if VR contents are activated by network establishment and various devices for classes using VR, the reduction of time, space, cost, etc., and the satisfaction of learners' classes will be increased and their proficiency will be improved.
