初刊本 訥齋江遺稿 缺版의 原文復元에 관한 硏究 = A Study on the Restoration of the Original Text of Nuljae-Gangsu-Yugo

The purpose of this study is to analyze the physical and textual characteristics of Nuljae-Gangsu-Yugo and restore its original text from their missing wood- block plates. The major findings are as follows: (1) Nuljae-Gangsu-Yugo is the posthumous collection of writings by Park Jeung-Yeong and his son, Park Hun and first published as a wood-block print by his descendant Park Jeong-Ryong in 1666(King Hyunjong 7). (2) Wood-block plates for the first edition of Nuljae-Gangsu-Yugo originally consisted of 37 plates with 74 sides, but 6 plates with 12 sides are missing. Each plate is 20.3㎝ long, 53.9㎝ wide and about 3.0㎝ thick. Those plates are assumed to be made of pine trees, and very elaboratively carved.(3) Wood-block plates of Nuljae-Gangsu-Yugo are very important, because their original prints do not currently exist, and they exhibit the techniques of woodcutting in the mid-Joseon Period.(4) It is expected that based on the original texts, the missing wood-block plates of the first edition of Nuljae-Gangsu-Yugo could be restored, and the whole set of the original wood-block plates of Nuljae-Gangsu-Yugo could be completed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 訥齋江遺稿의 缺版에 대한 原文을 復元하려는데 그 목적을 두고 서술된 것으로 그 내용은 다음과 같다.(1) 訥齋江遺稿는 朴增榮과 그의 아들 朴薰의 遺稿合集으로 1666(현종 7)년에 江의 현손으로 安陰縣監을 지낸 朴廷龍에 의해 5권1책의 木版本으로 初刊되었다.(2) 초간본 訥齋江遺稿의 冊版은 원래 74面 37枚였으나,현재 12面 6枚가 缺失되었으며, 책판의 크기는 세로 20.3㎝, 가로 53.9㎝, 두께 3.0㎝ 내외이다. 冊版의 材質은 소나무(松木)인 듯하며, 版刻의 수준은 매우 높은 편이다.(3) 초간본 訥齋江遺稿 책판은 초간본이 전존하지 않아 매우 귀중한 冊版일 뿐만 아니라, 조선시대 중기의 刻版術을 엿볼 수 있는 책판이라는 점에서도 그 가치가 매우 높은 것이다.(4) 복원된 원문을 저본으로 초간본 訥齋江遺稿의 결판이 복원되어 완전한 初刊本 冊版이 完備되기를 기대한다.
