This is a study to evaluate the image of Kyongju as a foreign tourists destination. We collected the data for this study with survey questionnaires of 200 tourists who visited the following four major tourist destination in Kyongju. 152 effective questionnaires were for the statistical analysis with SPSS 6.0 and 7.5 Version. We used 26 image attributes extracted through panel discussion with the specialists. Methods for testing hypotheses were Frequency analysis, Factor analysis, One way-Anova, Multiple Regression analysis, and Correspondent analysis. The result is that there is a significant correspondence between the image attribute of the Japanese tourists of Kyongju and their demographic characteristics, and that their image attribute also has a significant difference according to their companion type and their education levels. To develop the image of Kyongju for the foreign tourist, we need to do synthetic research for the active device such as food, lodging, traffic, information and entertainment.
