젠더 전시인가? 한국의 미취학 자녀를 둔 기혼여성의 가사노동 시간량과 분담 = Gender Display? Housework Time and Share of Married Women with a Preschool Child

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This article examines gender display in housework of married women with a preschool child in Korea. Analyses on Korean Time Use Survey in 2004 and 2014 showed that Korean women’s housework time was explained by dependency thesis. However, in 2004 among economically independent women, those with traditional gender-role ideology spent more time on housework than those with progressive ideology and this was found for low educated women. In 2014, the gender display was found among the highly educated women. In addition, among economically dependent and highly educated women, those with progressive ideology spent more time than those with traditional ideology.
