국가수준 학업성취도평가가 초등학교 학급경영에 미치는 영향 = The Impact of National Assessment of Educational Achievement On Class Management

The purpose of this study is to understand the impact of National Assessment of Educational Achievement on the class management and to understand the vivid on-sight education arena from the perspective of home room teachers by investigating the actual conditions of on-sight class management and the awareness of 6th grade teachers of the effect of National Assessment of Educational Achievement on the class management of 6th grade elementary school classes, which has been enforced since 2008. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. The 6th grade home room teachers showed strong tendency of managing their classes with emphasis on a course of study due to pressure from the local education office, the school, and the administrators regarding National Assessment of Educational Achievement. In the aspect of school life guidance, there was little time left for it as too much attention was being given to study guidance, and even if school life guidance was being done, interest was focused on the students` grades, and caused problems in the students` school life by not being able to grasp the students` worries or troubles. In the aspect of human relations centered on the home room teachers, cooperative relationship for class managements was maintained among the 6th grade home room teachers who were in similar environments, who felt pressure from the administrators that emphasized study guidance with interest in the results of the National Assessment of Educational Achievement, but it was not with indifferent fellow teachers who were in charge of other graders.
