Using Internet environment is considered absolutely essential for more efficient marketing strategies, so many companies are attempting to efficiently use these Internetbased marketing strategies to increase their profits. Although website members and marketing costs are significantly increasing, many companies could not find efficient ways to screen and exclude unfavorable troublemakers who are duplicate members. The duplicate members tend to snap away a premium for sincere customers and drop down marketing cost effects. Therefore, effective membership management system is required for improving Internet-based marketing performance. The purpose of this study is to suggest efficient ways to screen duplicate members by using social network analysis and verify the effectiveness by using real on-line customer data.
