This study was conducted to examine the effects of the Values Analysis Training Program(VATP) on the career maturity and self-concept of high school students. For the purposes of this research, one experimental group and one control group (30 male and female highschool students each) were organized by random-assignment. The VATP, developed by Jang, Sun-ChulSeol, Jae-Pung(2005), was applied to the experimental group while no treatment to the control group. The Career Maturity and Self-Concept questionnaire was administerd to both groups before, after, and 2 months after the program. The results were summarized as follows: First, the VATP had positive effects on increasing the level of career maturity including career maturity attitude and career maturity ability. Second, the VATP didn't reveal significant effects on developing students' self-concept. The results suggested that various VATPs that enhance students' career maturity be developed and that great consideration be given when those programs are administerd.
