국어교육과 관련된 어휘 기술의 보편성과 개별성 = A Study on the Problems of Generality and Particularity on Vocabulary Description in Korean Language Education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study shows that an inappropriate description for vocabulary in books for Korean linguistics makes the description of the vocabulary inappropriate in textbooks for Korean language arts. We assume that students learn incorrect knowledge on vocabulary due to the improper description written in the textbook. Based on the assumption, we investigate problems in descriptions shown in books for Korean linguistics and Korean dictionaries. Next, we propose a solution for the problems. Specifically, the problems is identified through analyzing lexical systems on ``rice plant`` and ``brother and sister``. By exploring lexical systems on ``body`` and ``livestock``, we recognized the problems of generality and particularity on vocabulary description. Regarding generality and particularity, we also show that some of particularity problems can be understood as generality problems. This study demonstrates the necessity for research on essence of language and vocabulary.
