한국 전통 상장례 문화의 변천과 미래의 상례복 제시

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to examine the changing history of Korean traditional funeral culture and to suggest future funeral clothes. Through the documents, the research methods of the funeral culture and the changes of the traditional funeral clothes from the ancient era to the modern era were reviewed and the modern funeral clothes were suggested. The funeral culture of Korea was affected by shamanism funeral in the ancient era, Buddhist funeral in the Goryeo Dynasty era, and the Confucian funeral in the Joseon Dynasty era. The shamanism funeral is characterized by the extension of a certain period of time after a long period of non-funerals, which implies a magical meaning that the dead may regenerate or reincarnate. The Buddhist funeral has the characteristic of cremating the dead and the Confucian funeral is base on Family Rituals which emphasize the respect of parents. The modern funeral culture has been simplified to fit the current life based on the `home rite rule`. Therefore, in this study, fashionable funeral clothes, which can be recycled as ritual clothes or worn easily, be suggested according to the changing era.
