The objective of this thesis is to select necessary contents for a Korean language curriculum intended for foreign migrant workers. To obtain the objective, this study conducted a questionnaire, polling foreign migrant workers and their Korean colleagues. This study is preceded on the following procedure. ''The study of documents → The preliminary investigation(the interview with foreign migrant workers) → The making and performance of a questionnaire → The statistical analysis of the questionnaire → The analytical research of the questionnaires results'' This chapter also shows the tangible situations foreign migrant workers meet in everyday Korean life. In the conclusion, these two conditions are compared to each other in the needs analysis.$$a$$aThe fifth chapter suggested the direction of selecting and organizing necessary contents for a Korean language curriculum for foreign migrant workers through a needs analysis. Speaking, pronunciation, place, situation, and personality should be given more weight in selecting and organizing necessary contents in a Korean language curriculum for foreign migrant workers. Job life especially should be given more weight than daily life in a situation-centered syllabus. Also, comprehension should be given more weight over expression in job life.$$a$$aIn the sixth chapter, the conclusion is derived from the analysis of the results of this study.
