담화 장르에 따른 삽입 표현의 사용 양상 = Usage Aspects of Insertion Expressions on Discourse Variation

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purposes of this thesis are to reveal the types and functions of the insertion expressions in various Korean spoken corpus.
In chapter 1, 2 the 'insertion expressions' will be defined as the linguistic expressions that do not affect the syntactic meaning and structure of the sentence in the utterances of one speaker even if the expressions are deleted. In order to observe an aspect according to text genre, corpus is composed of four different genres. In chapter 3, insertion expressions suggest the three types; [simple insertion], [substitution] and [inversion]. All of them are subdivided into two groups respectively. In chapter 4, we analyze the frequency and distribution of insertion expressions on text variations. The features of [±reciprocal], [±formal], [±planned] are all important in that they influence on the frequency of subtypes of insertion expressions.
This study will be meaningful in that it discusses the various functions and meanings of the formal and the substantial insertion expressions in various grammar units such as words, phrase, and clause forms in different text genres.
