해외 도심재생의 정책 및 제도에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Policies and Institututions for Downtown Regenration of Foreign Country

The purpose of this study is to review the policies and institutions in advanced countries in orderto solve downtown problems and to suggest some lessons for downtown regeneration. For this study,the policies and institutions which have been planned or implemented in UK, USA and Japan arestudied. The contents of this study are consisted of following three parts. In the first part the formerresearches related with the downtown regeneration are studied and the content of the policies andinstitutions according to its characteristics are classified as a theoretical review. In the second part thetendency of the downtown regeneration of the case countries are comparatively reviewed. As a casestudy, in the third part the analysis of the policies and institution are conducted in regard to planning,finance and organizatioand some lessons for downtown regeneration in the future underconsideration of the korean situation are suggested.
