      전통건축공간의 의미 생성과정에 나타난 탈영토화와 재영토화 = Deterritorization and Re-territorization in The Meaning-Becoming Process of Traditional Architecture Space

      Studies related to traditional architecture theory describe the features shown in the space make-up of Korean traditional architecture as dualistic theory of yin and yang or order principle of T`ai-chi and Li in Neo-Confucianism. Based on this, the space of traditional architecture structured surrounded by yards and fences has been prescribed to have the features of having the centeredness and hierarchy. Also the female-centered building of a house is unilaterally classified as exclusive space for female-only, and the male-centered building of a house as open space for male-only vice versa. Such view points are overlooking the intrinsic attribute existing in traditional dwelling space which seeks the becoming. So, this study aims to suggest new and novel viewpoints on Korean traditional architecture by analyzing the meaning-becoming process in traditional architecture space on the basis of Deleuze`s serialization concept. According to findings from the serialization method and its ensuring architectural features, in traditional architecture space, the unit space converged initially through nomadic conjunction becomes the individual territory-space, `Chae`by combining the adjacent space, with the court located in the center. `Chae` combines with various individual space disjunctively through breaking up its centeredness, territorialization, locality, and then continues its becoming process as a whole space. This is also the feature of space being the series through the Rhisome characteristic of non-centeredness and non-grading system which never returns to one and only center. As you have seen above, Like this, the traditional architecture space always becomes deterritorized in its territorization broken up through being combined with different space, and again resumes the process of becoming-series, seeking for a whole-new territorization. Traditional architecture space seeks the new becoming without end. But it is not the kind of deviation. Rather, the successive meaning-generating process of space which repeats re-territorization by way of territorization and the becoming deterritorized and then move over should be understood as the meaning-generating process aiming at mediating the harmonious differences, and essentially, through cohesion, accomplishing the oneness of space-human-nature.
