    A scientification of sports can be acheived through the Appropriate management of systematic and well-establish objective oriented components such as manpower, facility and training program, etc.
    Sports mrasuring data, purpose of which is to upgrade physical performance of individuals or a group, is one of the most important factors in planing and complement of a efficient program.
    In the point of view that scientification of sports can be launched with appropriate use of measuring strength and collected information data, the importance of measuring strength is getting bigger and bigger.
    Especially, precise data can be obtained precise measuring strength, and cannot rely on old- fashioned measurement of technology.
    Therefore, scientification of sports can-not go along without adaptation of modern and advance technologies.
    in Korea, the concept of scientification of sports and operation system, which have been introduced in 80’s, is still unfamiliar although there are relatively plenty of man-power in the field, the level of sports science is not so higher than of advanced countries mainly because of lack of advanced facilities and measurement.
    Major intention of this study is turning public mind about a undeveloped field such as sports science, and having a attention in sports science related product devel-opment field in spite of several economic diffculties.
    In case temporary foreign measuring products, there can be several unconveniency or distortion Because almost all products have been produced in function oriented or mechanical structure oriented concept.
    Therefore making a sports measuring strength mass produced contains something special and complicated matters.
    Anyway, general recognition of product design in view of enterprise and design, put-pose of which is to propose rational tentative based on the research for human factor,design needs, function, structure, form and material, etc, is strongly needed.
    The expected result of the study is as follows:
    1) Establishment and verification of the long and the mid term plan for the scientification of sports.
    2) Self motivated effort and technical, economical and organizational saupport for establishing practical environmental for sports-scientification
    3) Concentrating attention of corporrations and designers in sports-related product development, manufacturing and distribution.
    Span of this study has been difined as making a sample case of re-designing “Grip strength gauge”, and the study will the directives for development of sports measuring product.
