대한민국 고등학생의 직업가치 잠재프로파일 비교 연구 : 2015년, 2022년 코호트 비교를 중심으로|RISS 상세보기

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 일에 대한 새로운 가치 및 태도를 가진 것으로 논의되고 있는 청소년을 대상으로 이들의 직 업가치 패턴을 7년의 간격을 두고 분석함으로써 직업에 대한 청소년의 다양한 가치를 이해하고 급격한 사 회적 변화가 이들의 직업가치 양상에 어떤 변화를 가져왔는지 분석하는데 목적이 있었다. 이를 위해 대한민국 한국아동･청소년패널조사의 2015년 자료 1,891명, 2022년 자료 2,205명을 대상으로 12가지 직업가치에 대한 잠재프로파일 분석을 실시했으며, 도출된 잠재 집단에 대해 부모와 관계, 자아존 중감 등에 대한 차이분석을 실시하였다. 연구를 통해 도출된 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회 및 산업의 급격한 변화는 청소년의 직업가치 에 대한 선호도 차이를 감소시키는 경향을 보였다. 7년전에 비해 코로나19와 같은 사회 변화 속에서 청소 년들은 자신의 직업가치를 불확실성을 회피하고 경제적 보상과 안정성을 우선시하는 방향으로 가져가는 모습을 보였으며, 특히 적성과 소질로 대표되는 내재적 직업가치의 중요성이 감소하는 특징을 보였다. 둘 째, 전반적으로 사회적 기여와 명예에 대한 가치의 중요성이 감소하는 상황에서도 사회적 가치를 중시하 는 차별성을 가진 집단이 확인되었다. 셋째, 직업가치에 대한 인식 수준은 자아개념과 유의미한 관계가 있 었으며, 거주지역, 학업포부에도 집단간 차이를 보였다. 연구를 바탕으로 청소년의 직업가치의 변화에 대한 학술적 논의를 심화시켰으며, 진로체험 및 진로교육 에 대한 실천적인 시사점을 제시하였다.

This study investigated adolescent work-value patterns over a seven-year interval to understand how rapid social shifts have shaped their values. Using data from the Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey (KCYPS) in 2015 (N=1,891) and 2022 (N=2,205), latent profile analyses were conducted on 12 work values. Differences in parent–child relationships and self-esteem across the identified groups were also examined.Findings revealed that rapid social and industrial changes have reduced the diversity of work-value preferences. Compared to 2015, adolescents in 2022 prioritized economic reward and stability as a means of avoiding uncertainty, while the importance of intrinsic values—such as aptitude and talent—notably declined. Although the overall emphasis on social contribution and prestige decreased, a distinct subgroup prioritizing social values was still identified. Additionally, work-value perceptions were significantly linked to self-concept, with differences observed across residential areas and academic aspirations.This study deepens scholarly discourse on the evolving work values of adolescents and provides practical implications for career education and experiential programs.
