The purpose of study is to examine an adjustment process of beginning teacher of special education who works at a general elementary school. To achieve these goals, the regular interviews by 5 elementary school teachers of special education from different schools who have no experience of short-term teaching position have practiced for a year and a half. And the data obtained through interview has analyzed in accordance with comprehensive analysis procedure based on a practical eclecticism. Based on created 18 meaning units, 6 subcategories and 2 upper categories have introduced, and 2 upper categories can be categorized into 2 parts: ‘being a little bit easier’, and ‘being more difficult’. If take a concrete look, it is as in the following. First, in ‘being a little bit easier: can do it as work proceeds!’, the adjustment process has mainly taken from the content that special instructor has to solve various problems while adjusting to a general school. The deducted subcategories are ‘becomes easier and easier, IEP’, ‘the work and official document which is getting accustomed to’, ‘a class know-how gradually enhances’, and teachers have responded that they are used to the job and handle the work efficiently, even though it has been difficult to handle during the first semester. Second, in ‘being more difficult: being more lonely!’the adjustment process has mainly taken from the content about the relationship and conflict in the school after assigned to a general school, and satisfaction from being other type of teacher. The deducted subcategories are ‘relationship which gets more difficult and loneliness which gets deeper’, ‘presence of school parent’, ‘satisfaction from difficult circumstance’. The significance of study can be established in that the study has took long time to interpret what kind of experience that beginning elementary teachers of special education experience, and how they adjust, and proposal for future study is as follows.
