IT 서비스산업의 불균형 성장에 관한 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

한국경제는 IT 제조업 중심의 수출 급증으로 빠르게 글로벌 경제위기에서 벗어나고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고, EIU/WEF 등의 보고서는 한국 IT 산업의 경쟁력이 하락하고 있음을 지적하고 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 한국 IT 산업 경쟁력 하락의 원인을 IT 서비스산업의 불균형 성장이라는 측면에서 분석했다. 특히 IT 서비스산업이 IT 제조업에 비해 느리게 성장할 수밖에 없는 문제점을 내수, 수출, 수입, 전후방연쇄효과, 부가가치창출 정도, 효율성 등 6개 측면에서 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 OECD에서 제공하고 있는 IO Table과 STAN Database를 활용하여 OECD 국가들과 비교 분석했다. 특히 OECD 국가들 중 한국과 산업구조가 비슷한 일본과 독일을 분석 대상으로 했으며, IT 서비스산업이 발전한 미국을 분석 대상 국가에 추가했다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Korea became the first country which escape from global financial crisis because the export of IT product is soaring. But Korean IT competitiveness is diminishing. This study is trying to focus on the unbalanced growth of the IT service industry and IT manufacturing Industry which is the one of the reasons why the Korean IT competitiveness on the decrease. The IT service is confronting problems on the 6 aspects like domestic demand, export, import, backward and forward linkage effects, value added inducement and efficiency. Input-output table and STAN database is used to analyze it among countries. Specifically this study is comparing IT service of 3 countries - Japan, Germany and United States because Japan and Germany are similar to the structure of industry and United States is one of the countries which is most developed in IT.
