친지의 사회적 지원, 부모특성, 어머니 심리적 특성이 후속출산계획에 미치는 변인탐색 = An examination of the influence of the variables of social support of friends and relatives, parental characteristics, and mother`s emotional characteristics on planning for second childbirth

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigates the influences of the social support of friends and relatives, parental characteristics, and a mother`s psychological characteristics on planning for second childbirth. The data on 2,078 children and their parents was gathered from the 1st Panel Study of Korean Children, which was carried out by the Korean Institute of Child Care and Education in 2008. The data collected were processed statistically by a structural model and the fit of the model was very good. The findings show that the social support of friends and relatives and parental characteristics affected the subsequent planning for second childbirth with the meditation of the mother`s psychological characteristics. The direct effect of social support of friends and relatives on planning for second childbirth was negative and the result remained the same even with meditating the mother`s psychological characteristics. The direct effect of the parental characteristics on planning for second childbirth was negative and this result was also negative with the meditation of the mother`s psychological characteristics.
