현대태몽담의 서사화 방식과 문화적 의의

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 현대태몽담의 서사적 특징 및 문화적 의의를 탐구하기 위해 시도되었다. 이를 위해 우선 전국 규모의 현지조사를 통하여 총 552편의 태몽담을 수집하였다.
1차년도에는 현대태몽담의 전승 문제를 연구하였다. 주요 내용은 현대태몽담이 남신의 탄생담에서 기원하여 역사시대에는 위인 내지 영웅의 탄생담으로, 중세 이후에는 아들태몽담으로 전승되었다는 것이다. 구체적으로는 이러한 현대태몽담의 전승 문제를 ‘큰꿈’, 고소설의 딸태몽담과 관련시켜 해명하였다.
2차년도에는 태몽담을 유형화하고, 서사분석표를 작성하였다. 그리고 이를 기반으로 현대태몽담의 서사화 방식을 연구하였다. 방법은 태몽담 서사에 등장하는 꿈속주체와 태아상징물 간의 관계를 기본으로 하되 이를 전자의 입장에서 재구성하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제를 낙태 관련 태몽담 및 죽음예지태몽담과 관련시켜 연구하였다.
3차년도에는 현대태몽담의 문화적 의의를 탐색하였다. 태몽담에는 현대적 남아선호 경향, 그에 따른 낙태 현상 등 현대적 사회․문화적 문제들이 반영되어 있다는 점에 착안한 것이다. 본 연구에서는 이상의 문제들을 중심으로 태몽담의 현대문화적 의의를 규명하였다.
이상 본 연구는 3년간에 걸쳐 현대태몽담의 전승, 서사적 특징, 문화적 의의를 탐구하였고 그 연구 결과물의 일부로서 관련 논문 4편을 학술지에 게재하였다. 종합적인 연구 성과물 및 3차년도 연구 결과물, 태몽담 자료집은 차후에 발표할 예정이다.
이상의 연구 결과는 구비문학의 전승 원리, 전통서사의 현대적 전승 양상, 여성서사 등과 관련된 후속 연구에 큰 도움이 될 것이라 본다. 또한 본 연구에서 수집되고 정리된 자료집은 관련 분야 및 태몽담에 관심 있는 대중들에게 긴요하게 활용되리라 본다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this research is to study the narrative characteristics and the cultural significances of the dream of conception tales in modern society. For this, I initially collected 552 dream of conception tales through the nationwide field survey.
Of the first year, I investigated the subject of transmission in the modern dream of conception tales. The following is the gist of this investigation. The dream of conception tales originate in the birth tales of masculine deity, having been handed down as the birth tales of great man in era of history, and as the son dream of conception tales since the Middle Ages. Concretely I explicated this subject of transmission in the modern dream of conception tales in connection with the Great Dreams and the daughter dream of conception tales in Korean Old Novels.
In the second year, I classified the modern dream of conception tales by types and drew up the narrative analysis table. Based on this, I investigated the narrative method of the modern dream of conception tales. The process followed this. Based on relationship with Dream Subject and Embryo Symbol in the narration of the dream of conception tales, I reconstituted this on position of the former. In this research I explicated this subject in connection with the dream of conception
