영유아 영양에 대한 어린이집 교사들의 지식 = Child Care Teachers' Knowledge regarding Nutrition for Infants, Toddlers & Young Children

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 영유아가 영양에 관한 어린이집 교사의 지식을 조사하고 교사의 영양지식이 교사의 연령, 교육수준, 경력, 영양교육 경험여부에 따라 차이가 있는지를 살펴보았다. 전국의 어린이집에서 표집된 530명의 교사들을 대상으로 연구자들에 의해 개발된 질문지를 배포하여 그 응답내용을 분석하였다, 연구 결과. 영양에 대한 어린이집 교사의 지식은 일반 적으로 빈약하였으며, 특히 어린이집 교사들에게 필수적인 영유아기의 영양지식은 심각하게 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 어린이집 교사들의 영양지식 수준은 교사들의 연령과 교육수준이 높을 때. 그리고 영양교육의 경험이 있을 때 높은 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examined child care teachers' knowledge regarding nutrition and the differences in teachers' nutrition knowledge in terms of the teachers' ages, educational levels, careers, and experiences of nutrition education. Five hundred thirty day care teachers responded to the questionnaire which were developed by the researchers. The results are as follows: (1) Child care teachers' nutrition knowledge was generally poor. Knowledge about the nutrition for young children of infancy, toddlerhood, and early childhood, which was considered as essential for the child care teachers, was especially poor; (2) The level of child care teachers' nutrition knowledge was generally higher when the teachers were older, had higher educational level and experience of nutrition education.
