Most of interactive multimedia contents proved to be effective auxiliary tools for virtual education on the worldwide web. We have to note that this valid under the assumption that the multimedia contents are well-designed and well-managed. But, the simple and/or tedious webpages which consist of only text/image-based learning materials have made the lowering of educational efficiency on the worldwide web. The predominantly one-way nature of the media used in planning and preparation of learning materials results in little or no student-to-student and student-to-teacher communication. This lack of interaction leads to students' feeling isolated.
Thus, the objective of this paper is to develop several JAVA applets for understanding the principles of digital logic systems. The results of this paper can be widely used to improve the efficiency of lectures which were given to the learners in the cyber university.
