저소득층 조손가족의 조부모-손자·녀 관계 결정모형에 관한 연구 = Study on the Determinant Model of the Relationship between Custodial Grandparents and Custodial Grandchildren in Low Socio-economic Class

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 손자·녀 양육을 전담하는 조손가족 조부모와 손자·녀의 가족관계 결정모형을 분석함으로써 조손가족의 가족관계를 증진하기 위한 실천적 개입의 기초를 마련하고자 이루어졌다. 본 연구는 대인관계이론을 이론적 근거로 전개되었다. 사회조사 연구로 설계되었으며 97명 조손가족 조부모와 97명 손자·녀의 자료가 분석되었다. 조부모의 손자·녀 양육부담, 손자·녀의 연령, 손자·녀의 우울, 손자·녀의 행동상의 문제, 손자·녀의 성별, 그리고 조부모의 성별이 조손가족의 가족관계를 설명하는 유의미한 결정변인으로 분석되었다. 조부모-손자·녀 관계의 최종결정모형은 조손가족 조부모와 손자․녀 관계의 38%를 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 조부모의 손자·녀 양육부담이 낮을수록, 손자·녀가 어릴수록, 손자·녀의 우울이 낮을수록, 손자·녀의 행동상의 문제가 낮을수록, 손자·녀가 여아이고, 조모일 경우 조손가족 조부모와 손자·녀의 관계가 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다. 손자·녀의 우울이 조부모와 손자·녀의 관계에 미치는 유의미한 영향력은 대인관계이론의 주장을 뒷받침한다. 또한 손자·녀의 높은 연령, 남성, 그리고 행동상의 문제가 조부모와 손자·녀의 관계에 미치는 부정적인 영향은 선행연구의 결과를 지지한다. 분석대상자의 지역성과 경제적 계층의 편재(偏在)로 일반화에 한계가 있으나 조손가족 조부모와 손자·녀의 관계 증진을 위한 실천적 개입의 기초 자료를 제공했다는 점에서 연구의 의의를 찾을 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to identify the determinant model of the relationship between custodial grandparents and custodial grandchildren in order to provide fundamental data of a practical intervention for those families. This study was developed based on interpersonal relation theory of depression. This study was designed as a social survey study using a data from 97 custodial grandparents and their grandchildren. The results showed that the relationship between custodial grandparents and grandchildren was determined by caregiving burden, age of grandchildren, depression of grandchildren, behavioral problems of grandchildren, sex of grandchildren, and sex of grandparents. The determinant model was explained 38% of the variance in the relationship between custodial grandparents and custodial grandchildren. The implications for social work practice were discussed.
