다문화 정신건강 프로그램 참여경험 분석 = Experiences of mental health programs provided at multicultural service agencies

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 결혼이주여성의 당사자 관점에서 다문화기관의 정신건강 관련프로그램을 조명함으로써 당사자가 경험하는 프로그램의 성격과 한계에 대한 탐색적 이해를 구하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 결혼이주여성 12명을 심층면접하여 프로그램 이용자이자 제공자로서의 경험에 대한 자료를 수집 분석하였다. 주제분석 결과, 프로그램의 관점, 구조, 질의 3개 영역에서 9개 표제에 36개 주제가 도출되었다. 분석결과에 나타난 그들의 경험과 관찰은 정신건강과 개입에 대한 이주여성의 개념, 이민자 삶의 상황에 따른 프로그램구조화, 프로그램 깊이에 대한 시사점과 함께 다문화 정신건강 프로그램에 있어 포스트 모던 패러다임의 적극적 도입 필요성을 제시했다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the study was to illustrate the experiences of the use of mental health services at multicultural service agencies from the perspective of marriage-immigrant women and to explore the nature and limitations of the programs. Twelve women who had immigrated for marriage and are working as a translator were interviewed, and data on their experiences of participating in such programs as a user and provider were collected and analyzed. The results revealed 9 topics and 36 themes in three areas: Perspective, structure, and quality of program. Participants` experiences as a user and their observations as a provider suggested implications for conceptualization of mental health and intervention, program structuring according to the life situations of immigrants, and depth of program. Also suggested was the need for adopting a post modern para digm to multicultrual mental health programs in a more assertive manner.
