모던사회에서 포스트모던 사회로의 과도기에 있어서 유아교육의 방향 = A Study on the Direction of Early Childhood Education from Modern to Postmodern society

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 모던사회에서 포스트모던 사회로의 과도기에 있어서 유아교육이 나아가야 할 방향을 논의하는데 그 목적이 있다. 따라서 모던 주제에서 포스트모던 주제로의 이동과 이러한 주제들이 모던 가족 및 포스트모던 가족 속에서 어떻게 해석되어지는지, 모던 학교가 모던 사회 및 핵가족을 어떻게 반영하는지, 그리고 포스트모던 학교가 포스트모던 사회와 투과성 가족을 어떻게 반영하는지 고찰하였다. 유아교육기관을 포함한 학교들은 의도적인 개혁과는 무관하게 사회와 가족내의 변화에 반응하여 이미 중대한 변혁을 겪어오고 있다. 이 시점에서 우리에게 가장 필요한 것은 더 많은 개혁이 아니라, 오히려 우리 학교들이 진행중인 일에 대한 더 많은 인식과 지원이다. 우리 학교는 가족 및 사회와 함께 이미 포스트모던 시대에 와 있다. 따라서 포스트모던 사회에서 유아교육의 방향을 제시하면 다음과 같다; 첫째, 유아를 창의적, 협력적, 그리고 감성적인 인간으로 육성해야 할 것이다. 둘째, 인종적, 문화적, 역사적으로 다른 환경에서 성장해온 사람들과 더욱 긴밀히 협조하고 상호 의존하는 다문화 이해와 존중의 인간성 교육이 이루어져야 할 것이다. 마지막으로, 포스트모더니즘적 교육은 수요자 중심의 질적 운영체제로 전환되어야 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to discuss the direction of early childhood education from modern to postmodern society. To achieve the purpose, I explore as follows; first, the shift from modern to postmodern themes and then how these themes are translated into modern and postmodern family ties; second, how the modern school reflected modern society and the nuclear family and how the postmodern school mirrors postmodern society and the permeable family. The schools have already undergone a major transformation-independent of any conscious reform agenda-simply in response to changes in the society and in the family. From this perspective. what we need most is not more reform, but rather more recognition and support for what the school already doing. In keeping with our families and our society, our schools are already in the postmodern. Therefore, I would like to suggest the direction for early childhood education in the postmodern society. First, the kindergarten has to educate children as a creative, cooperative, and emotional beings. Second, children have to be educated to understand and respect multiculture and anti-bias. Finally, schools(including kindergarten) have to be transformed to qualitative administration focusing on consumers.
