農協加工事業의 育成方向에 관한 硏究 : 전북지역을 중심으로 = (A) study on direction for development in food processing industry operated by the federation of national agricultural cooperatives : a cast of Conbuk area

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Korean agriculture is not very much competitive as a industry, paltly because of small farm size and of less productive agricultural structure for supporting and improving productivity.
Uruguay Round trade negotiation, a tariff agreement of the GATT that begun is 1986 settled down in December 1994. Korean agriculture are facing with achieving specific binding commitments in cach of the following areas; market acess; domestic support; export competition; and to reaching an agreement on sanitary issues;
Consequently, Korean agriculture are needed to adjust its structure for changes in both internal and external economic conditions. From 1989 korean agriculture must bring forward to having international competitiveness. The goverment has also propelled boosting policies of agricultural processing industry through development of the traditional food industry and the prodecers processing industry, in order to response to the structural improvement of agriculture and the settlement of Uruguay Round trade negotiation. It is also scheduled to establish 1,000 processing factories by the 2000's. The food processing industry is founded to increace farmer's income in accordance with the increace in processing food demand and creation of a high value-added.
Accordingly, this study is to analyze the percent situations of processing industry and its related policies.
The main contents are included as follows ;
Chapter I, introduces the purpose of this study..
Chapter II, reviews a general tendency in development of processing industry, exports and of imports in processing products.
Chapter III, analyzes the survey data that is based on economic activities processing firms and the federation of national agriculural cooperatives in Chonbuk area.
Chapter IV, examines the direction for development of the agricultural processing industry operated by the federation of national agricultural cooperatives.
