20대 남성 초심상담자가 경험하는 심리적 어려움에 대한 현상학적 연구 = A phenomenological study on psychological difficulties experienced by male novice counselors in their 20s

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 상담자 직업군에서 소수자로 종사하는 20대 남성 초심상담자가
경험하는 심리적 어려움과 대처방식을 탐색하는 것 이다. 특히 본 연구는 상담장면에
서 내담자의 연령과 성별 요인이 20대 남성 초심상담자에게 주는 영향을 중심으로 탐
색하여 기존의 초심상담자 연구에서 미비한 내담자 요인이 초심상담자에게 주는 영향
에 대한 추가적인 연구가 실행되었다는 것에도 의의가 있다. 이를 위하여 20대 남성
초심상담자 7명을 대상으로 심층면담을 실시하여 20대 남성 초심상담자가 경험하는
심리적 어려움과 이에 대한 대처 방식으로 어떤 것들이 있는지를 살펴보았다. 수집된
자료는 Giorgi의 현상학적 연구방법에 따라 분석하였다. 연구결과 20대 남성 초심상
담자가 경험하는 심리적 어려움으로 남성상담자로서 경험하는 불편감, 소수의 남성상
담자로서의 존재, 취업전선에서의 불이익, 20대 초심상담자로서 직면하는 어려움의 4
개의 구성요소와 10개의 하위구성요소가 도출되었다. 심리적 어려움에 대한 대처방식
으로는 상담자로서 의미부여, 상담자의 윤리적 태도 함양, 외부 자원으로 3개의 구성
요소와 8개의 하위구성요소가 도출되었다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 하여 논의하여, 연구의 의의와 후속연구에 대한 제언을 제시하였다

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to explore the psychological difficulties and
coping methods experienced by 20's male novice counselors who are minority
workers in the counselor occupation group.In particular, this study explored
the effect of the client's age and gender factors on the 20's male novice
counselor in the counseling scene. It is also significant that in the existing
studies of novice counselor, additional studies were conducted on the
insufficient part of the influence of the client factors on the novice
counselors. To do this, an in-depth interview was conducted with 7 male novice
counselors in their twenties to examine the psychological difficulties
experienced by 20's male novice counselors and what are some of the ways to
cope with them. The data collected by in-depth interviews were analyzed
according to Giorgi's phenomenological study method. As a result of the
analysis : (1) 4 components and 10 sub-components were derived as the
psychological difficulties experienced by 20's male novice counselors and the
6components are as follows; Discomfort experienced as a male counselor,
Existence as a few male counselors, Disadvantage of employment, Difficulties
faced as a 20's novice counselor . (2) 3 components and 8 sub-components were
derived as the How to cope with psychological difficulties and the 3 components
are as follows; Giving meaning as a counselor, Cultivating the ethical attitude
of counselors, External Resources. Based on the results of this study,
discussions were made, and the significance of the study and suggestions for
subsequent studies were presented.
