‘영성’ 개념의 철학적 사유 지평 = The Philosophical Horizon of Spirituality Concept

국문 초록 (Abstract)

근대를 벗어나려는 철학적 기획은 근대에 와서 신화적으로 재현된 이성 개념에 대한 비판과 극복으로 이루어진다. 이 논문은 이러한 논의의 철학적 배경을 살펴본 뒤 이성 개념의 수정과 새로운 이해를 위해 우리의 이성과 다른 어떤 지성이 아니라 서구 이성에 의해 배제되었던 “이성의 다름”에 대해 논의한다. 이것을 이 글에서는 초월성과의 관계 속에서 제기되는 영성 개념으로 규명하고자 한다. 즉, 영성 개념의 논의를 이성 이해 일반과 근대성 비판, 탈형이상학의 관점에서 요구되는 내재적 초월성으로 정의하고, 이를 해석하기 위한 철학적 사유 지평을 제시할 것이다.
이를 위해 계몽주의적 이성이해를 살펴본 뒤 역사적 경험에서 드러난 이성의 변증법적 자기전개과정을 살펴본다. 이어 계몽주의 이성이해의 극복 가능성을 해명할 것이다. 이를 통해 새로운 이성이해의 지평을 논의하기 위한 터전으로 전통 형이상학을 넘어서는 탈형이상학의 사유동인에 대해 논의한다. 이것은 이성이해와 형이상학의 패러다임은 동일한 철학적 논의 지평에 근거하기에, 탈형이상학적 사유동인을 밝힐 수 있을 때만이 근대 이성이해를 넘어서는 새로운 이성이해의 지평이 제시될 수 있을 것이기 때문이다. 이 글의 핵심적 논점인 영성 개념의 철학적 사유 지평을 위해 영성개념에 대한 일반적 이해와 그리스도교적 영성이해에 대해 언급할 것이다. 이를 위해 현대문화의 영성이해와 영지주의적 전통에 대해 해명한다. 이를 통해 영성개념을 이해할 철학적 지평이 해석학적 관점에서 정초될 것이다.
탈근대의 관점에서 서구의 근대성과 이성 이해를 넘어설 철학적 과제는 근대의 기획을 완성하는 데 있지 않고, 오히려 이러한 범위를 벗어나 인간 본래의 존재성을 해명하는 해석학적 작업에 있을 것이다. 그래서 여기서는 이러한 해석학적 토대를 영성을 위한 철학적 지평으로 드러낼 것이다. 이를 위한 철학적 원리를 결론적으로 내재적 초월성의 철학적 원리와 연결하여 제시한다. 즉, 탈형이상학적 관점에서의 이성 이해의 전환과 그를 위한 해석학적 지평이 현대 문화에서 거론되는 영성 개념을 해명하기 위한 사유 터전임을 결론으로 제시한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Philosophical planning to escape from modern age is formed with criticism and overcome for the concept of “logos” reproduced in mythology in modern period. The purpose of this study is to look at philosophical background of such discussion and to deal with “the Others of Reason” which has been eliminated by western rationality rather than intelligence different from ours for modified concept of logos and for its new understanding. I would like to define it in the concept of spirituality which is presented among relationship with transcendence. Namely, I would define discussion of spiritual concept in immanent transcendence required in aspect of criticism for general understanding for rationality and post-metaphysics, and suggest a philosophical thinking horizon to interpret this.
In order to have philosophical thinking horizon of spirituality concept which is the core issue of this research, I would mention about general understanding for spirituality concept and spirituality understanding of Christianity. In order for that, I would explain about spirituality understanding of contemporarily literature and gnosis tradition. Through these, the philosophical horizon to understanding spirituality concept will lay a foundation stone in aspect of analytics.
Philosophical task to go beyond western modernity and reason understanding in aspect of post-modernity is not to complete modern planning, but instead to explain human’s original existence an analytical work. Therefore, such analytical foundation will be revealed as philosophical horizon. I would finally suggest the philosophical principle in connection with immanent transcendence. Namely, I would suggest conversion of reason understanding in aspect of post-metaphysics and analytical horizon for it is a thinking ground to explain spiritual concept which is discussed in contemporary culture as conclusion.
