풍수 논리의 현대적 재해석 = 현대 도시를 중심으로 한 시론적 고찰

국문 초록 (Abstract)

풍수는 부정적 인식에서 벗어나 한국의 전통 공간관으로 조금씩 인정받고 있다. 그러나 아직도 풍수의 학문적 위상이 제자리를 잡았다고 볼 수는 없다. 이에 본 연구는 그 주요 원인의 하나로 풍수적 시각에서의 공간 읽기의 한계성을 지목하였다. 그리고 풍수의 학문적 위상 정립을 위한 방법으로 풍수 논리의 현대적 재해석을 제시하였다.
이런 맥락에서, 연구는 풍수의 전통적 기본 논리 체계인 간룡, 장풍, 득수, 정혈이 현대 도시의 관점에서 어떻게 재해석될 수 있는지를 사례를 통해 살펴 보았다. 본 연구는 정량적 실험을 통한 논증하는 성격이 아닌 현대 도시를 중심으로 풍수의 논리를 재해석한 시론적 고찰에 불과하다. 그러나 연구는 풍수의 기본 논리를 종합적으로 재해석함으로써, 현대 사회의 문제 해결에 풍수가 일조할 수 있음을 밝혔음에 의의가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Feng-shui has been certified as the Korean people"s traditional thoughts of environment, and Feng-shui came out of the thought of superstition and gradual conjury. But the academic position of Feng-shui has not been established yet. This study regards the limits of reading spaces from Feng-shui"s point of view as one of the major reasons, and this study emphasizes the contemporary interpretation of the logic of Feng-shui to solve problems.
In this context, this study analyzes how the Feng-shui"s traditional logic, which is Kan-yong(看龍), Jang-pung(藏風), Duk-su(得水), Jung-hyul(定穴), is interpreted from the point of view of a modern city. This study does not have the demonstrative characteristics through the quantitative analysis, but the study"s theoretical characteristics could give some sense to readers that this study is only independent of subjective value judgements of the research. But this study would say the Feng-shui could help to solve the problems of modern society through a overall reinterpretation of the Feng-shui’s basic logic.
