소아 청소년 환자에서 시행된 구강 병소 생검 : 20년 간의 후향적 연구 = A 20-year Retrospective Study of Pediatric Oral Lesion Biopsy

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 서울대학교치과병원에서 시행된 소아 청소년 환자의 구강 병소 생검 결과를 후향적으로 분석하여, 소아 청소년의 구강 질환에 관한 병리학적 자료를 제시하고자 하였다. 2000년 1월부터 2020년 4월까지 서울대학교치과병원 구강병리과에서 만 16세 이하를 대상으로 시행된 구강 조직 생검 결과에 대한 의무기록을 열람하였다. 환자는 0 - 5세, 6 - 11세, 12 - 16세의 세 집단으로 나누었으며 병소는 염증성 및 반응성 병소, 종양 및 종양성 병소, 낭성 병소의 세 범주로 분류하였다. 총 2928개의 생검 조직 중 종양 및 종양성 병소(35.66%)가 가장 많았으며, 염증성 및 반응성 병소(34.29%), 낭성 병소(30.05%) 순이었다. 카테고리와 상관없이 가장 많은 수를 차지한 병소는 치아종이었으며, 점액종, 함치성낭이 그 뒤를 이었다. 이 연구는 대한민국에서 시행된 소아 구강 병리에 대한 최초의 후향적 연구로, 임상에서 이러한 병변을 마주칠 수 있는 소아치과 의사에게 유익한 식견을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
