    This study applied aerobic and non-aerobic exercises to middle-aged men for 12 weeks, suggested effective exercise types based on its influences on their physical composition and physical fitness and aimed at providing the information to prevent adult diseases. It selected total 50 subjects including 25 aerobic exercise group and 25 non-aerobic exercise group at sports center in G metropolitan city, calculated the mean and standard deviation using statistical program SPSS 11.0 after 12-week training, conducted t-test (paired sample t-test) for differential test before and after exercise and obtained the following conclusions.
    1. In the changes of physical forms by exercise types, aerobic exercise group showed statistically significant differences at chest (p<.05). waist (p<.01) and hiP (O<.05) before and after exercise and non-aerobic exercise group showed statistically significant differences at waist, hip and thigh sizes as P <.05 level and then it was found that aerobic and non-aerobic exercises have the influence on the changes of physical forms.
    2. In the changes of subcutaneous fat thickness by physical parts according to exercise types, aerobic exercise group showed statistically significant differences at all subcutaneous fat thickness including triceps, subscapular, abdominal, Iliac crest, medial calf, etc. (p<.Ol), but non-aerobic exercise group showed statistically significant differences at all parts excluding medial calf (p<.05)
    3. In the changes of health related physical strength by exercise types, there were statistically significant differences at muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and cardiopulmonary endurance (p<.OOl).
    According to the above conclusions, it was found that aerobic and non-aerobic exercises had the influence on changes of physical composition, sizes and subcutaneous fat thickness and they were very effective in health related physical strength factors.
