초등학교 수학 수업 컨설팅의 의뢰 과제 특성 분석

This study analyzed the characteristics and inclinations of consulting commissioned tasks shown in the process of preparation and diagnosis of actual mathematics teaching consulting cases. It was tried to identify requirements of consulting clients and to get suggestions on the direction of mathematics teaching consulting in the future and competencies of consultants. The subjects of this study were 28 cases that the researcher had performed elementary school mathematics teaching consulting from 2011 to 2013 as a chief teacher in Gyeonggi-do. To analyze the commissioned task, the commissioned task on the consulting application form and the task modified during the diagnosis were compared and analyzed. Second, by analyzing the clarified task, it was analyzed how much and in what area it was requested. According to research result, the importance of diagnosis process in the stage of consulting was identified. The commissioned tasks were categorized as mathematical content, understanding of the learner, teaching method and evaluation, mathematics curriculum, mathematics teaching culture, education policy (national or city or province educational office) and mixed area (overall area). Although most of them were regarding mathematical contents or teaching method, there were many cases that wanted to have consulting to follow educational policy that city or province educational office emphasized. Although the purpose of consulting is to enhance the expertise on mathematics and classes, it is the most efficient when the consultant with expertise and competencies can give customized consulting after diagnosing the backgrounds and requests of the clients. Therefore, consultants should enforce their competences so that they could have expertise on mathematics, understand educational policy properly, and follow the prescribed direction according to the policy, and training programs should be developed accordingly.
