The author chose one hundred and twenty third year highschool boy students and had them do exercises for body building in order to find the effect of exercise for body building on the score of physical examination, and then reached the following conclusion.
1. Exercise for body building suitable for body size by classifying body size of the students contributed much more to the improvement of the body strength than those done without considering body size.
2. The body size in the physical development had much to do with the inflnence of the body size on the elements of each body strength, and the elements of body size are the basis of body strength.
3. The author found out that fat and thin students respectively need to be regularly trained for a long period by separating them from other students because they are weak in basic body strength.
4. The practice of body building for the identical group of body size by classifying was more efficient than that of common body building.
5. Especially in order to prevent accidents that occur during a long-distanse running race, exercrses for body building of thin and fat students should be practiced in a more developed way.
