      The purpose of this study was to investigate the change process of career planning in the career exploration program using educational drama for middle school special education students with developmental disabilities. For this purpose, a qualitative content analysis a type of qualitative research was performed. This program was conducted for 16 sessions using creative experiential activity classes on a semester from September to December, 2022. Data were collected through subjects' activity sheet, researcher observation log, video footage, special education teacher participation logs, and researcher reflective journals and comprehensively analyzed. The results of the study showed that the career exploration program using educational drama was an opportunity for middle school special education students to freely express their feelings and thoughts, experience social interaction, discover their potential, and improve their confidence. The results of this study are expected to contribute to more effective support for career and vocational education, through various activities such as educational plays, that explores the capabilities and potential of middle school students with developmental disabilities.
