In this paper, the driver perception response(comfort) has been studied with a semi-active suspension vehicle. Toward this end, appropreate conditions of suspension system(i.e. damping coefficient of the damper) was analytically derived for each case of the different driving conditions(driving velocities and road conditions).
Real driving test was also performed to prove the analytical results. The final results show that semi-active suspension system is quite effective only when driving velocity is under 60km/h and off-road condition.
