      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      ‘Incarnation’ refers to the fact that the Word of God(Logos) became flesh, and that it became both true God and true man. However, this ‘incarnation’ has been interpreted in various ways in Christian history.
      It is ‘the Word sharing in the weakness of creation, to reveal and redeem as the fulfillment of the second hope of exodus, to be the mediator of creation and new creation and mediator of revelation’, ‘the event of God’s grace and revelation(glory), an event that opened up the possibility of true knowledge and salvation in this world’, ‘the event that made the invisible God visible and tangible’, ‘the case of taking the real body, the case of taking the rational human soul(the psychology of human intellect, emotion, and will)’, ‘the event of the work of the mediator who accomplished the atonement that took away sins by becoming a sacrifice’, ‘the mystery of God’s revelation in Jesus Christ, the event to become the word of reconciliation, the act of God’s government, the work of God’s love for creation, the event of becoming a true and realistic human being, becoming human essence and Dasein, and participating in historicity itself, an act of miracles, an act of mercy of God who is truth, the event of taking equality with the descent’, ‘the means of realizing the kingship of God the Father in the world’, ‘the event of becoming a human being to redeem man, a wonderful visual image that enables us to know God’, ‘the event that gave birth to Christian art and made the invisible God visible’, ‘the event of seeing the glory of God through art, literature, poetry, dance, icons, sculpture, popular music, and the synthesis of sound.’
      This incarnation can be applied to Christian liberal education, through the Christian university chapel and Christian understanding course. In other words, chapel and Christian understanding subjects are the subjects of application of the incarnation model. Through this process, the chapel and Christian understanding course can convey the two aspects of the core Christian message and the universality of human beings.
