The purpose of this study is to investigate the Interactions between teachers for young children with disabilities and young children with disabilities in free choice activities. For this purpose, this study qualitatively analyzed the contents of 12 observation diaries and 12 video tapes of free choice activities, and 12 audio tapes of interviews of teachers. The results of this study were as follows: First, quantitative characteristics of interactions shows 3 cases. In first cases, during about 30 minutes, teacher interacts with each child for 4-5 minutes by turns, and does for 2-3 minutes one more time. In second cases, teacher interacts with each child for 10 seconds 2 minutes repeatedly. In third cases, teacher interacts with each 1 or 2 children and doesn`t interact the rest of children. Second, in qualitative characteristics of teacher - child interactions, types of interactive behavior of teacher are proposing, modeling, explaining, questioning, helping, playing with child, general communicating, recognizing, praising, encouraging, showing love, controlling, modifying problem behavior. And it shows that teachers need careful attention and consideration in proposing, helping, and modifying problem behavior.
