학교의 정보통신기술 활용 교육 현황 = Current Status of the Educational Use of Information and Communication Technology in Schools

The use of Information and Communication Technology(ICT) has become increasingly important in education. The purpose of this research is to investigate the current status of the educational use of ICT in schools. A survey was conducted in February, 2000. Survey questionnaire was randomly mailed to 900 schools, and the response rate was 36.9 %. This research has the following three objectives: 1) to investigate the way in which schools use ICT for their school curriculum; 2) to examine teachers`` ability ID use ICT; 3) to ~ the level of administrative support for the use of ICT. From the survey, it was found that ICT is now used in schools more actively than before. However, it was aloo found that more efforts need ID be made in Some areas such as the instructional strategy using ICT, the design and the management of teacher training programs and the level of support provided to teachers.
