다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract) kakao i 다국어 번역

When we scrutinize the relationship between EU and NATO in Europe, we may discover two implications for the coexistence of regionalism and multilateral alliance. One is that regionalism should develop into a centripetal and partnership-like regionalism rather than a centrifugal and hegemonic one. The other implication is that multilateral alliance should playa safety belt for regionalism to be deepened and expanded. The fact that twenty one out of twenty seven member states of EU constitute those of NATO means that there exists a significant overlapped area between regionalism and multilateral alliance. In this light, it is necessary to expand the overlapped area between East Asian regionalism represented by ASEAN Plus Three on the one hand and multilateral alliance represented by U.S.-Australia-Japan TSD(Trilateral Security Dialogue) plus alpha on the other. Against this backdrop, the United States should participate in EAS(East Asian Summit) to realize Asia Pacific regionalism, not East Asian regionalism. In addition, the United States needs to expand the outer space of multilateral alliance not to the extent that the U.S.-led Eurasian network may be understood as a club of democracies, but to the extent that the Eurasian network may represent anti-terror, economic opportunity, and energy security.
