경기도 다문화가정 서포터즈 사업 형성과정 분석 = Analysis on Multicultural Family Supporters Program in Gyeonggi-do

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This article has applied multiple stream approach to the analysis of the process of agenda setting and policy making on the Multicultural Family Supporters Program in Gyeonggi-do. Although the government has been supporting the married immigrant women and the multicultural families to improve their quality of life institutionally, there has been blind spots of the policy in every local government. Since 2013, Gyeonggi-do has been implementing the Multicultural Family Supporters Program to solve the blind spot issues. The program is designed to discover an isolated married immigrant women, to connect them to the multicultural family support center, to provide mentoring. According to the results, the public officers could be an policy entrepreneurs because of the systematic multicultural families support system of the administration organization. In other words, the authors find the significant roles of the public officers who are familiar with issues in their jurisdiction, administrative support resources and process as an policy entrepreneurs. Also, the authors confirm that local governments would be able to discover, plan, and implement the effectiveness local friendly policies.
