The purpose of this study is to analyze the operation status of the intensive Korean language curriculum designed to enable Chinese undergraduate students to acquire the Korean language proficiency test scores required to graduate from college in a short period of time, identify problems revealed in the process, and derive improvement measures. To this end, a survey and in-depth interview were conducted with learners and instructors to analyze the satisfaction of those involved in the curriculum. Based on the analysis results, it was suggested that in establishing future education policies, it is necessary to recognize the limitations of performance judgment that rely on short-term evaluation, follow-up surveys, and feedback system construction. In addition, in order to improve the design of the subject, it was proposed to restore communication-oriented education goals, supplement textbooks and class materials, design customized design, design an intrinsic compensation system to induce learning motivation, and readjust the operation method of the short-term intensive curriculum.
