동학적 민주주의의 토대, 동학의 인간관 = The Democratic elements of Dong-hak in it`s understanding on human nature

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Dong-hak is the result of creative change of many idea including Con- fucianism, Buddhism, Taoism. Dong-hak was trying to accommodate the wishes of the people suffering from the suppression of feudal system and the foreign power at the time. The new understanding of Dong-hak on human nature was born in such a background. However, Dong-hak is not simply a results of making a denial of the traditional idea, Confucianism. Dong-hak not only overcome the world view of Confucianism but also have inherited the elements of Confucianism that have supported up the repressive regime. If we do not take into account such relevance between Confucianism and Dong-hak, we can not correctly understand Dong-hak. In this paper, through research on homogeneity and heterogeneity bet- ween Dong-hak and Confucianism, we study the democratic elements of Dong-hak. The result of Such a research will help discovering the eastern way of democracy.
