정서장애, ADHD 및 정서장애와 ADHD 공존질환을 지닌 아동의 주의력과 인지적 특성 비교 = The Comparison between a Group of Children with Emotional Disorders, One with ADHD and One with ADHD and Emotional Disorders Regarding Attentiveness and Cognitive Characteristics

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The main aim of this study is to make Differential diagnosis of three groups ( a group of children with Emotional Disorders, one with ADHD and one with ADHD and Emotional Disorders) because children in these groups show similar behavioral symptoms and attention problems on the surface. For this study, professors of child psychiatric clinics and clinical psychologists classified elementary school students into three groups based on the results of DSM-Ⅳ: a group with Emotional Disorders( n=15), one with ADHD( n=13) and one with Group with ADHD and Emotional Disorders( n=13). To compare their attention level and cognitive characteristics, the scores of K-WISC-Ⅲ and ADS were analyzed by one-way analysis of variance and post hoc tests was done for Sheffe test. As a result, the group with Emotional Disorders were within normal range regarding the scores of K-WISC-Ⅲ symbol search and ADS, but the other two groups showed attention problems in the scores. K-WISC-Ⅲ symbol search and ADS are considered to be useful for Differential diagnosis. However, the difference between two groups, the group with ADHD and Emotional Disorders and one with ADHD, was not significant. For this matter, it seems to be necessary to perform additional studies to find more factors for discrimination.
