제7차 국어과 교육과정의 평가 = Ways of Testing in the 7th Korean Language Curriculum

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 논문은 제7차 국어과 수준별 교육과정이 지향하는 바람직한 국어과 평가의 방향을 초등단계를 중심으로 정리하고 그 구체적인 대안을 모색하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 학습자의 개인차-학습 능력, 학습 속도, 관심사 및 흥미 등-를 인정하고 각 학습자의 수준에 맞는 의미있는 학습 경험을 제공해 주고자 하는 제7차 교육과정에서의 평가는 무엇보다 학습자의 성장과 발달을 도모하는 발달직 관점에 토대를 두어야 할 것이다.
본고에서는 제7차 수준별 교육과정의 본질 추구에 이바지할 수 있는 평가가 되기 위해서는 평가에 대한 근본적인 인식의 전환이 이루어져야 한다는 전제 아래, 그 구체적인 대안으로 생태학적 평가 패러다임과 그 구체적인 평가 원리를 제안하였다. 교수·학습 과정과 평가의 통합을 특성으로 하는, 이 생태학적 평가는 학습자마다 개인차가 존재한다는 점을 인정하고 획일적인 평가보다는 좀더 다원화되고, 개별화된 평가를 통해서 학습자의 성장과 발달을 도보하는 데에 가치를 둔다. 따라서 일회적인 결과적 수행보다는 일정 기간을 두고 지속적으로 학습자들이 교수·학습 과정에서 보여 주는 다양한 수행 국면들을 포착하여 해석하고 기술해 가는 평가 방식을 지향한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the desirable evaluation direction based on the 7th Korean Literacy Curriculum. 7th level-based Curriculum presupposes individual differences-learning capacity, learning pace, interests etc-to affect the Korean literacy. So the 7th Curriculum is intended for giving the meaningful learning experience appropriate to each student's level. The focus of level-based curriculum is developmental view to aim the growth of each students.
In this paper, I propose an ecological assessment paradigm as an alternative and several kinds of concrete literacy performance-based principles. Ecological assessment paradigm is based on the developmental view. For assessment to be ecological, it must be ongoing and integrated with instruction and learning-part of the classroom ecosystem. In this paradigm, teachers who are creating authentic literacy environments assess ecologically by capturing, describing, and interpreting authentic literacy events and behaviors.
