This paper examines the origin of Ulsan Bangucheon petroglyphs in relation to the Heilong(Amur) River area. To this end, we first focused on the realistic description of petroglyphs made in the Neolithic period in Bangucheon Petroglyphs in Ulsan. Next, the Neolithic culture and petroglyphs of the Russian Primorsky Krai and the Amur River were reviewed. However, although this region and the Korean Peninsula are connected to the East Sea cultural area, there is a lack of intermediate links because they are far away locally. In response, we also looked at the Neolithic culture of China’s Heilongjiang Province and the Tumen River, which connect this region to the Korean Peninsula. Among them, the Gun-Ryeok(群力) petroglyphs of Heilonggang Province in China were examined in more detail, and through this, the relationship with Ulsan Bangucheon petroglyphs was predicted.
