    The study examined the relationship between university students' competencies and their employment outcomes. First, the competencies required for entry-level employment were identified based on various studies from several countries. Second, the competencies were examined in relation to various employment outcomes using university senior students who were about to enter into labor markets.
    The results showed that university students' competencies were significant factors influencing their employment. For example, the university students who were employed had higher level of competencies than the university students who remained unemployed. Based on the result, several implications were discussed in terms of university programs supporting for the employment of students as well as company selection processes.
