영․유아 교사의 교직윤리의식 실태조사 연구 = The Survey of Ethical Sense of Teachers in the Early Childhood Education Profession

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 영․유아교사의 교직윤리의식 실태를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 김지현(2015)이 개발한 영․유아교사의 교직윤리의식 측정도구를 사용하였으며, 서울, 경기도, 인천 지역의 국공립 및 사립 유치원과 어린이집 영․유아교사를 대상으로 242부의 표본을 수집하였다. 수집된 표본은 SPSS 18.0 통계 프로그램을 사용하여 범주별 평균과 표준편차를 산출하였다. 영․유아교사의 교직윤리에 대한 인식수준은 영역별로 조사한 결과 영․유아, 가정, 동료, 사회, 교사 개인 등 5개의 영역별 평균이 5.7 이상으로 높게 나타났다. 그러나 가정에 대한 윤리영역에서 영․유아교육기관을 개방하는 문제, 교실환경에 영․유아 가족의 접근 및 참여하는 것, 동료에 대한 윤리영역에서는 교사의 업무 분화 및 업무 시간, 교사의 건강상 문제에 대한 원장의 배려, 원장이 교사의 전문성과 자율성을 인정하는 것, 교사개인에 대한 윤리영역에서는 교사들이 생각하는 교육전문가로서의 직업의식과 자부심에 대한 항목 등에서 낮은 인식수준을 나타내었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The present situation of ethical sense among teachers in the profession of early childhood education was checked by applying the measurement scale. Measurement scale for this study was developed by Kim, Ji Hyun(2014). For the sample, 242 early childhood education teachers in national/public and private kindergartens and nursery schools in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, and Incheon were selected. The categorical average and standard deviation were calculated by using the SPSS 18.0 statistical program.
On investigating the levels of awareness of teaching ethics among teachers of early childhood education, the averages in the 5 categories of children, family, colleague, society and individual teachers were found to be relatively high, at levels above 5.7. However, the awareness levels were found to be low in issues such as: opening early childhood education establishments to the public, and allowing the approach or participation of family members in classroom environments, in the category of ethics concerning the families; job division and working hours of teachers, the director's consideration for teachers' health problems, and the director's acknowledgment of teachers' expertise and autonomy, in the area of ethics concerning colleagues; and teachers' professional consciousness and
pride as experts in education, in the area of ethics concerning individual teachers.
