인터넷상에서 이동 호스트를 위한 멀티캐스트 서비스 = A Muticast Service for Mobile Host in Internet

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 인터넷상에서 이동 호스트의 멀티 캐스트를 효율적으로 지원하기 위한 방안을 기술하였다. 먼저 TCP/IP 네트워크 상의 멀티캐스팅과 이동성을 지원하는 방법과 그것들 사이에 일어날수 있는 상호작용들을 각각 기술한다음, 그와 연관된 문제들의 다양한 해결책을 제시한다. 또한 세 가지의 서로 다른 멀티캐스트 전송 메카니즘의 구현에 관하여 논하였으며, 효율성과 그것들이 기존 프로토콜에 미치는 영향 측면에서 비교하였다.

In this paper present alternative scheme for efficiently muticast for mobile hosts in Internet. We first describe methods for separately supporting
multicast and mobility on TCP/IP networks along with their possible interaction and then explore various to the combined problem. We discuss the implementation of three different multicast delivery mechanisms and compare them based on their efficiency and their impact on existing protocol software.
