The purpose of this study is to identify the factors which have an influence on the job satisfaction of patrol officers. This study selects work characteristics, work environment, salary, promotion, and personnel changes as construct factors of job satisfaction. This study adopted a Questionnaire method in research of patrol officers in Daegu police station. Data were collected from 368 members for empirical analysis. Techniques used in analyzing data were reliability analysis, factor reliability, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results of analysis indicate that work characteristics, work environment, salary, promotion, and personnel changes have an positive influence on patrol officers` job satisfaction.
