In holographic dark energy models, the problem of circular logic is examined between the introduction of
future event horizon and the accelerating expansion of the present universe. The problem can be divided into
two parts, the causality problem of the equation of motion and the circular logic on the use of the future event
horizon. The origin of the problem is identified to be a constant bearing future information. We isolate it from
causal equation of motion. Then, the constant is shown to be determined from the initial data of the universe.
